Windows 7 x64 - Flash freezing Internet...

Dear Support,

multiple systems, Flash is involved.. it is random.
To repro use Windows 7 64 bit - latest flash.
Go to Facebook and launch play with following flash apps:

Mafia Wars

FarmVille

When you use Farmville open full screen and use embedded mode.

You will experience the hangs.

Can you help?

Using Windows 7 RTM x64 bit on Internet Explorer 8.

Freezes are horrible. make IE 8 crash.

I disabled all add-ons... still crashing

I am having the same problem in both IE and Google Chrome - when I try to maximize the screen in Farmville (facebook.com) the application freezes, I then open the task manager and 'end task' and receive a bar message ''adobe has crashed'' - something like that.?I hate to be a critic but it seems like every time I run an update of Adobe something goes wrong (though I know Facebook has had some issues this past month). In some other threads, it is said that Adobe lets flash animations always run in maximum quality by default;?this can be a problem.

Web pages that use intensive Flash Player use make older pc's suffer because of this decision about always-in-high-quality graphics.

Why doesn't Adobe implement a global configuration override so that the user can choose the default quality of Flash Player videos? This can reduce the 100% cpu saturation to something a bit lower.

Wow this actually makes me feel better! I have been having the same thing happen and I thought maybe it was my brand new computer. I just built the computer around a month ago with mostly top of the line stuff (Intel i7 920, 6 gigs crucial ram, ATI 4870). I went crazy testing everything and my hardware/software all checks out ok. Every other app/game runs great for hours. But I too am having trouble with flash games on facebook. In particular pet society and yoville cause my computer to lock up completely and I have to hard reboot. The only other app that locks up my system completely is itunes, but I read reports of a few people having trouble it and windows 7 x64 also. Its pretty random too, I can be playing a flash game for a while before it locks up the system or sometimes after just a few minutes. Hoping 64 bit flash comes soon to windows and maybe that corrects the issue. Windows 7 x64 seems to be a bit finicky with certain programs not being 64 bit.
